Babymetal Biography and Phoenix Show History
Babymetal blends J-pop melodies, choreographed performance and heavy metal, creating a distinctive sound that has helped the Japanese group reach audiences well beyond its home country. The band's releases include the albums Babymetal, Metal Resistance and Metal Galaxy. Its 2023 Phoenix appearance was part of the Babymetal & Dethklok bill, with Halestorm and Violent Vira also listed in the event lineup.
The event took place on October 10, 2023, at Arizona Financial Theatre. The available event information identifies this Phoenix date but does not establish a broader history of Babymetal performances at the venue. For fans seeking hard rock and metal concerts in Phoenix, the show brought together several distinct acts on one downtown bill.
Venue and Seating Information
Located at 400 W Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85003, Arizona Financial Theatre is a downtown venue with an approximate capacity of 5,000. Its traditional theater layout includes orchestra or floor seating, a mezzanine and an upper balcony. The venue was nominated for Theatre of the Year in the 2023 Pollstar Awards.
For a close-up concert view, center orchestra or floor positions and the front-center mezzanine are identified as strong choices. Center mezzanine seating provides an elevated perspective, while the center balcony can offer a wider view at a more affordable level. Extreme side balcony seats may have limited sightlines depending on the stage configuration.

Babymetal Mesa reviews
Erykah Badu in an intimate setting was awesome!
"I attended a recent show in Greensboro, NC by Babymetal, and it did not disappoint. The show started late, which is typical for Babymetal concerts, but that didn't take away from the experience. The venue, Greensboro War Memorial Auditorium, was smaller than usual concert venues, creating a more intimate connection between the audience and the artist. The lights and sound were exceptional, enhancing the overall experience. The 90-minute set was slightly shorter than expected for the $75 price, but the quality of the performance made up for it. Babymetal played songs from her entire collection, engaging the crowd throughout the set.
Well worth the money and the wait in my opinion. #Badu long live!"
